The Sultan peshtemal is the classic Turkish beach towel, woven in Bursa from 100% cotton. Fine white stripes run across a solid ground and the ends are finished with a hand-knotted fringe. It dries far faster than a terry towel, shakes sand off instead of holding it, and folds down to the size of a book.
